In most cases, Dr. Guajardo employs laparoscopic techniques, which reduce the amount of anesthesia needed, surgery time, and post-operative discomfort. About Our Surgeon - Dr. Horacio J. Guajardo
Dr. Horacio J. Guajardo received his degree in medicine and general surgery from the University of Monterrey in 1995. He refined his surgical skills under the guidance of some of the best bariatric surgeons in the world, including Dr. Franco Favretti and Dr. Giani Segatto in Italy, Dr. Alberto Salinas in Venezuela, and Dr. Roberto Rumbaut in Mexico. Dr. Guajardo is board certified in laparoscopic general and bariatric surgery and is a member of numerous professional organizations.
